Hola!
Hoy queria hablar sobre el dia a dia en mi trabajo, como centro de gestacion cultural del barrio de Don Vosco, trabajamos sobre distintas areas, como bookcrosing, jornalismo, espacio de muestras etc.
Tambien colavoramos con diferentes asociaciones sin animo de lucro, y una de ellas me gusta especialmente y participo un dia a la semana. Somos un gropo de trabajo femenino, este working group fue creado hace 1 año por mi companera de trabajo y amiga, Valentina que lo coordina y gestiona con ganas, talento y esfuerzo diario. Se llama Artemisia, y este wonderful y abierto gropo de trabajo, cooperamos distintas mujeres jovenes que somos todos miembros voluntarios con un gran espiritu de trabajo y empeño que se contagia desde el primer momento.
La plaza del voluntario EVS en aqui, está diseñada para una persona polivalente, que se adapte a los diferentes tipos de actividades que se realizan, y sobre todo, que tenga iniciativa e ideas para realizar nuevos talleres y eventos. En definitiva, para hacer que Artemisia crezca y envuelva a más y más gente. No se trata de un trabajo regular y monótono, puesto que cada día está enfocado a unas tareas específicas que resultan ser muy diferentes entre sí, pero siempre esta dirigido de la misma manera, somos mujeres jovenes con ganas de dar una voz y oportunidad a chicas artistas en riesgo de exclusion social.
Esta acción apoya y promueve el arte de las mujeres, con el objetivo de convertirse en un escaparate cultural, un punto de información y conciencia sobre temas de género. El nombre del proyecto inspira a la figura de Artemisia Gentileschi, una gran artista del Barroco que ha sido olvidada por los libros de la historia, como tantas otras. Artemisia quiere ser un proyecto artístico, y también desempeñar un papel activo en la sensibilización sobre la violencia de género y sobre temas estrechamente relacionados con la feminidad y el papel de las mujeres en la sociedad.
Esta semana hemos pensado en renovar nuestra imagen y recrear el logotipo de este bonito proyecto, a traves de una lluvia de ideas estamos creando todas juntas una tipografia que nos represente y sea reconocible para la gente.

Today
I want to talk about my work. Since I work in a cultural center in
the neighborhood of Don Vosco, we act in different areas, such as
bookcrossing, journalism, exhibition space etc.
We
also collaborate with different non-profit associations. I especially
like one of them and I work with them once a week. We are a group of
women's work, this working group was created one year ago by my
colleague and friend Valentina who coordinates and manages with
desire, talent and daily effort. It is called Artemisia, and this
wonderful initiative cooperates with young women who are all
volunteers with a great spirit of work and commitment that is
contagious from the first moment.
My
EVS here, is designed for a versatile person, which adapts to
different types of activities that are carried out and which has
initiative and ideas for new workshops and events. Briefly, a person
who make Artemisia grow and involve more and more people in its
activities. It is not a regular and monotonous job, each day is
focused on specific tasks that are very different from each other,
but it is always directed in the same way, we are young women with a
desire to give an opportunity and reach girl artists at risk of
social exclusion.
This
action supports and promotes the art of women, with the aim of
becoming a cultural showcase, a point of information and awareness
about gender issues. The name of the project inspires the figure of
Artemisia Gentileschi, a great artist of Baroque who has been
forgotten by the books of history, like many others. Artemisia wants
to be an artistic project, and also play an active role in raising
awareness about gender violence and issues closely related to
femininity and the role of women in society.
This
week we have thought about renewing our image and recreating the logo
of this beautiful project, through a brainstorming we are creating
together a typography that represents us and is recognizable by
people.
